Private Claude William Ortman was born 25 October, 1929 and died 11 June. 1953 (aged 23). Private Ortman was a Light Weapons Assault Crewmember attached Company P17, 7th Infantry Division. Died of wounds in hostile fire in North Korea. He is buried in Stockbridge Cemetery, Munnsville, New York.
