Private Martino Girolamo/Geralamo lived at 92 West Elm St., Oneida, NY. DOB: January 9, 1893 (Alberobello Italy) DOD: May 12, 1918 in France, age 25 Burial Place: unknown NOTE: Martin is the first Oneida Resident to die in France from wounds he received during the war. Martin enlisted in the United States Army as a Private. He served in the 16th Infantry. Company D. While Martin lived in Oneida he worked for the New York Central Railroad. He was married to Catherine Doria on May 15, 1915. She passed away March 6, 1916 and is buried at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Oneida, NY. It is unknown at this time where Martin is buried.
